FHMCC'S SALLY BUXTON NIGHT - 9th November 2018

FHMCC held another great night on the 9th November with our guests Sally Buxton and friends.

Funds raised by FHMCC are used to support local groups and local fundraisers as well as towards maintaining the two AED machines we installed recently. If you are raising funds or are in a local non-profit making group and would like to find out more please contact FHMCC. Donations from FHMCC are only open to Residents of Ayr East.

Forehill Bowling Club was the venue again and it's fair to say everyone had a great night. The bowling club is available to all local residents who would like to hold an evening there (special birthdays, silver weddings etc). If you want to know more contact Ian Dick on 07810 446 327.

A huge thanks to our fundraisers, Samantha, Sarah and Mary and special THANKS to the gals who helped us host. Esther, Staci, Margaret and Pauline - we couldn't have done it without you.

We had another fantastic raffle on the night thanks to our generous donors, SPAR, Morrisons, Forehill Cafe, Pollock Williamson Butchers, (Forehill), Masonhill Garage, Forehill's Rowlands Pharmacy, Forehill Keystores and to those Community Councillors and Local Residents who donated prizes.

Completing the August litter pick at Mill Brae

FHMCC organised a litter pick around the Mill Brae area of Ayr on Tuesday. There was no shortage of waste as you can see! Thanks to the Community Councillors who managed along. Thanks too, to the Rotary Club members for their help and also big thanks to the local residents who gave their time. Oh yes, and a big Woofy thank you to our honourary Community Councillor Murphy for keeping us company and our spirits up :-) Please folks, take your litter home or put it in a litter bin.

Litter Pick at Forehill shopping arcade. 11th June 2018

FHMCC carried out a litter pick tonight at Forehill shopping arcade and collected around 16 bags of rubbish just from this one small area! Folks, If we all take our rubbish home or use the bins provided and ask our children to do the same it will make our wee corner of Ayr so much nicer a place to be. A big thanks to our Community Councillors who came along, to SAC Cllr Chris Cullen for his help and a huge thank you to our local Residents who turned up. FHMCC plan to carry out another litter pick next Monday (weather permitting). We will meet at 6pm at the Hillfoot Road garage for a litter pick in that area. Come along and join us for an hour. We will supply gloves, bags and litter grabs.
When a community comes together amazing things can happen

Daffodil Tea at Forehill Library on 25th April 2018

FHMCC hosted a daffodil tea at Forehill Library on 25th April 2018. The event was kindly funded by a ‘neighbour’, tea and coffee was provided from the library kitchen. Carnegie Library supplied their china set for our posh-nosh and a fun afternoon was had by all! Thanks to Shona and Ailish for your hospitality (sorry about the crumbs!) And thanks to all our residents, community councillors and local businesses who support the work of FHMCC!

Another great night for FHMCC in April 2018. Thanks to our Fantastic Fundraisers, Samantha, Sarah and Mary for organising not only the night but a wonderful raffle too. Thanks also to Forehill Outdoor Bowling Club for allowing us the use of their clubhouse. We are grateful to our local businesses and all others who generously donated raffle prizes and a big thank you to all of our friends, family, local residents and guests for coming along and making it such a fun night out. Look out for news of our next fundraising event after the summer.
